I just wanted to thank you for posting this. I grew up in Massapequa and am a member/contributor to a Facebook group dedicated to the history of our town. As a paper collector (Sears catalogs!) and an old house person, I took note of some of the unusual houses in my old stomping grounds and was doing research when I stumbled upon your blog. I posted a link to this page on our group, and we already have a few members that live in Sears homes (and who know the history of their homes) telling their stories. I hope some of them follow the link here, and add to your database! Thanks again!

ReplyDeleteI owned the 202 Grand Blvd house from 2000-2017. Thanks for posting pics. I was always enamored with 69 Grand. It’s such a lovely house. Loved driving up that blvd. Always so many of the Sears houses to look at on one street!:)
